The center story tree featuring petroglyphs designed by the students, inspired by the ancient Alutiiq carvings. With colored glass for light and a sense of place on each floor. Kodiak High School.
Sculpted sandstone madrona tree overlaid onto a quartzite fireplace wall. Featuring slate branches that also depict an eagle, mountain lion, elk, deer and wolf. This Anacortes house is perched on a cliff with many natural madrona trees that cling to its rocky face.
Tiled backsplash panel depicting an Alaskan landscape with two Bull Moose and an Alder tree in the foreground. Small cut and etch line details as well as integrated switch plate covers. The homeowners met while on a moose hunt in Alaska.
